2011 Summer Tour Guide
Each summer, we offer a part-time paid Summer Tour Guide position to a college age student with preference given to Bradford County residents. This three-month position offers experience working with the public, operating a gift shop, and working on archival or data entry projects. The tour guide assists with school group tours and other special events as well.
This type of hands-on experience can be a perfect addition to a college student's resume. No experience is necessary, but prior or current extracurricular activites and/or volunteer work with a community organization are considered. An outgoing personality is essential. The start and end date for employment is flexible depending on the successful applicant's college schedule.
Applications are accepted beginning on April 1st. The successful applicant is notified during the second week in May.
