The Bradford County Historical Society has the microfilm collection of the Optometry Register from 1918 to 1967. The one volume is indexed. An Act of Assembly in the State of Pennsylvania was approved Mary 30, 1917 requiring optometrists to register in the County of their practice and provide proof of their certificate of practice from the Board of Optometrical Education, Examination and Licensure. Each affidavit contains:

• Name
• Residence
• Date of Certificate Issuance
• Date of Affidavit
